Ultimate Akpenyi also known as Mp7 da rapper is a prolific Gospel rap and trap artist.
He has a mandate to take the Gospel of Christ beyond boundaries of music genres and locations.
Born on the 16th of October 1997, he is the first born in a family of six. At the Age of 7 he had started writing lyrics and at 10 he had composed a few Gospel rap songs. In the year 2013 he did his first studio recording with his father in a in released album. In the year 2014 he released his first single featuring Tenaj on an inspirational dancehall song titled “Jubilate”.

By the year 2016 he had already done a few studio projects as a secular rap artist including his hit cover on The weekends instrumental “The hills” which went on to earning him some record credibility in the city of Lagos state.

Mp7 da rapper continued as a secular artist until the year 2018 where he changed his music line to the Gospel industry, in the year 2019 he made his first major debut appearance at Gospel minister Marian’s music concert “BOUNDLESS” where he performed alongside top African artists like JUDIKAY, PHILIP PAGE, ABRHAM ERU and MARIAN. He released his first Gospel freestyle song “The new me” in the year 2020.

2021 Mp7 da rapper featured as a major act alongside Gospel ministers like MILES MUSIC, MAUREEN WESLEY & MARIAN at “INTIMACY” a music concert organized by TUFF ministries led by Pastor Jonah Nebe and his wife Marian Nebe, where he performed his songs “Believers cry”, “Man of God” & “Life” which brought much recognition to his style of Gospel music.

That same year, Mp7 da rapper ministered alongside major Gospel music artists in the much talked about Gospel music concert “THE OUTPOURING” organized by Evaloaded TV, where he ministered alongside ministers like NEON ADEJO, OCHE JONKINGS, SUCCESS DIVINITY, MARIAN, OLA SAM and others.

This year he released a song titled AIN’T JOKING which went on to be his comeback after a brief pause.
